This past week was insanity. Complete insanity. I am happy to report that we are indeed in our new home, all unpacked and settled. Yay! However, we still haven't closed. We definitely will by Friday, we are just hoping to close earlier since we are paying a daily per diem charge. Our move definitely did not go smoothly or easily. Quite frankly, it was a huge PITA. Last week was one of the most stressful weeks of my life. Everything was difficult. I had meltdown after meltdown, was extremely irritated and frustrated. However, this week is much, much better.
I know I need to post photos of our new home...I'll try to get to it soon.
We are getting new appliances this weekend and changing out a few fixtures, etc. I'm so excited! Then, comes our new fence. I'm disappointed, because a fence is costing us more than granite (due to our large yard)! But, because Sophie and Madeline, we have to have a fence, and the granite is just going to have to wait awhile.
Speaking of Madeline, I had my follow up anatomy scan last week. We were able to view all of her heart chambers, and everything looks good. Also, her brain cyst has disappeared, just as predicted by my OB. We are definitely thrilled and relieved. I finally gained weight - 4lbs to be exact, which puts me right on track at gaining 1 lb per week up until the last month, then I'll need to gain 2 lbs per week. My belly definitely has popped out, too. I don't have a full on pregnant belly yet, but it's getting there. I'm still looking like I have a beer belly...but sorta pregnant, too. My clothes are all still fitting, but within in the next month I'm going to have to pull out those Bella Bands, I'm sure.
I cannot express how overjoyed we are with our new home. We will be here for many years (we hope). We are so blessed and lucky to have found this home. I will admit that before moving in, I was a little hesitant about whether or not we were making the right decision, but now that we are here, I could not be happier.
